Solar Eclipse 2023 Shepton Band Photo

This pic is a perfect snapshot of the "In the Shadow of Giants" theme Mr. Herring imagined for the band overarching theme this year. Not only was the Shepton Band the smallest in size next to the other bands that competed in the UIL competitions, but on October 14th the Shepton Band performed its halftime show as a rare Annular Solar Eclipse was taking place! The eclipse hit the Plano area about an hour after the performance, so that gave us a chance to snap this timeless photo for us.
